These products are covered by the Standard for Tall Institutional Carts and Stands for Use with Audio-@ Video-@ and Television-Type Equipment@ UL 1667.These requirements do not apply to a cart or stand provided with a specific product. Such combinations are to comply with the applicable requirements of the product standard.These requirements do not apply to any electrical circuitry integral to or provided with a cart or stand. The requirements of the standard covering the intended electrical product to be used with a cart or stand shall be applicable to any electrical circuits in the cart or stand. Electrical devices shall comply with the requirements for such devices. For example@ attachment plugs and receptacles shall comply with the requirements in the Standard for Attachment Plugs and Receptacles@ UL 498. Where the requirements of more than one standard are applicable@ the most severe requirements shall apply.The phrase ??cart or stand??@ where used in this standard@ generically references any product considered under the scope of these requirements.
