Scope 1.1 This standard covers non-metallic strapping and joining methods intended for use in closing, reinforcing and bundling articles for shipment, and in unitizing, palletizing and bracing for car loading and truck loading. 1.2 The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
