The CCIR considering that the sensitivity of a receiver is a measure of its ability to receive weak signals and to produce an output having usable strength and acceptable quality; in many cases, to assess the quality of the output, it might be necessary-to take into consideration the receiving equipment as a whole, including the parts giving the information in a printed, aural or visual form.
